A little about me
I chose to enter the field of counseling because my own journey with counseling completely changed my life. I can honestly say I have become the person I always wanted to be. I was able to leave behind doubt, fear, and worry, and discovered that I could become more fearless, able to take risks and be better at negotiating the “ups and downs” of life without getting stuck.
I started my career as a Medical Technologist working in medical laboratories. I found myself constantly approached by the other staff for advice. They found me very easy to talk to and I liked listening to them. It came naturally to me.
Experience
After obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Counseling I have worked in Community Mental Health, for Non-Profit Mental Health Agencies, as a Home-based Family Counselor and in a Private Group Practice.
